The written record shows the eagle was
personally acquired at auction by George Bullough
in 1895 at the conclusion of the
4th. Annual Industrial Exhibition,
Okazaki Park, Kyoto, Japan, (1 April - 31 July 1895),
during his World Grand Tour.
Kinloch Castle continues to suffer from water ingress and severe mold.
Lack of timely maintenance has resulted in much internal damage as in this bedroom in the Manager's Quarters. |

This level of water damage does not occur overnight,
it is the direct result of neglect and indifference
over many, many years!
