ENGRAVINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

Sir George Bullough, Bt. and Lady Bullough.

The arrival of Lady Bullough at Kinloch Castle following her 1903 marriage to Sir George brought many changes, including new accommodation for her retinue of servants by adding two further stories to the original single story west wing.

But Lady Bullough’s influence was also very much internal … … …

This addition provided three top floor rooms for servant's accommodation, and three fine guest rooms, two incorporating oriel windows all facing west.

ABOVE: With the removal of the dividing wall, the Boudoir was incorporated into Lady Bullough's Drawing Room in 1906.

BELOW: The former Boudoir area of Lady Bullough's Drawing Room photographed by the author in May 1996.

Since the photograph below was taken in May 1996 the pencil drawing

of Hermione, Sir George and Lady Bullough's only child has been not only removed from this location, but removed from the frame.

Fortunately both empty frame and drawing were found

and photographed by the author.

BUT WHY WERE THEY MOVED AND SEPARATED?
