Lloyd's did not record a register of yacht ownership 1916 - 1918.
.
After the war, in 1919, Rhouma was returned to her owner, Sir George Bullough who sold her to Mr. Vincent Grech.
Mr. Grech retained Rhouma up to 1923 when the yacht was sold to Captain Oswald Liddell and renamed Osprey.
.
.
Captain Liddell's Osprey was one of eleven yachts registered in 1928 of the same name.
Painting depicting HMS Hiniesta in Loch Foyle, the Royal
Standard at the
mast head, as she transports King George VI, Queen Elizabeth, and Princess Elizabeth
to Londonderry after arriving at Belfast by air for their Ulster Tour, July 1945.
*
Hiniesta was decommissioned in 1949 and returned
to Sir Frederick George Preston who is recorded as owner in 1949, the year of
his death.
Ownership
was retained by Sir Frederick’s Exors, until 1951, in which year Mr. Benjamin
Meeker of London is recorded as “Proprietor” of Hiniesta.
Regrettably
Lloyd’s Register for 1952 and 1953 was unobtainable, but at some point Hiniesta, now renamed President Roberts, was registered to
President Roberts Inc., an International Trust Company based in Liberia, “linked
to Joseph Jenkins Roberts, Liberia’s first president”, and photographed at
anchor (below) with a Plumb Bow.
