GEORGE BULLOUGH -  GRAND WORLD TOUR 1892-1895

Article twenty-one continues the description of the 1892-1895 world tour made by
George Bullough, (later Sir George, Baronet, Kinloch Castle, Isle of Rum, Scotland) 
and his companion, Robert Mitchell, recalled in a series of twenty-eight articles by Mitchell published in the local Lancashire newspaper the Accrington Gazette in 1896.

SS PORT PIRIE
Every nook and corner of the ship was filled with passengers for the Cape.
The boat was advertised as a fine, powerful, well equipped vessel - never was there a 
bigger fraud - the ship was nothing more than an ocean going tramp.
The voyage from Sydney to Cape Town took forty days instead of twenty-five and during that period we passed through a series of experiences that will make that voyage ever memorable ...”
