(One is left wondering how thorough and serious  they were!)

During my September 1997 visit to Rum I discovered the stove was nowhere to be found. I was informed by Mr. Currie that scrap metal men had visited the island and they must have taken it. A thorough search confirmed its disappearance, but did reveal the iron stand on which in use it had rested.  Sadly, on my previous visits it was unnoticed.

A very rare triple wringer.      Where is it now?
