KINLOCH CASTLE - A family history ... ...
Written from on-going research and illustrated from his personal photographic archive by George W. Randall, co-founder in July 1996 and former Vice Chairman Kinloch Castle Friends' Association.
Bullough family history -
Today this publicly owned building, with contents still in-situ,
is neglected and at imminent risk of loss and dispersal!
Where is this painting now ? !
(Professionally Valued in 1996 at ₤60,000.)
Three more examples of appalling indifference by those
charged, and still charged
with caring for the contents of Kinloch Castle.

THREE-FOLD SCREEN
When photographed in 1998 the Screen was located in the Visitor's Sitting Room,
formerly Lady Bullough's Bedroom. The Screen has been moved many times over the years.
PHOTOGRAPHS BELOW TAKEN 10 DECEMBER 2024
Sir George and Lady Bullough owned almost two hundred thoroughbred steeplechasers, flat racers and hunters in their lifetime. Shortly after the acquisition of Longholes Stud in 1925
Sir George commenced a breeding programme for himself, whilst, in 1929,
advertising Longholes services with Golden Myth.
Another stallion to initially stand at Longholes was home bred Ethnarch
out of Sir George's filly, Karenza,
by 1919 leading sire in Great Britain and Ireland, The Tetrarch
